About
Emem Adjah moves fluidly between worlds. Technology and culture. Strategy and taste. Precision and wanderlust.
Over the course of her career, Emem has specialized in digital advertising strategy with a deep focus on monetization, auction dynamics, and growth, shaping how revenue scales across some of the most influential technology platforms in the world. Her work spans Google, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Spotify, Twitter (now X), Bloomberg, and AOL. Known for operating at the intersection of commercial strategy and systems thinking, she has advised on how markets clear, how products scale, and how platforms grow sustainably in an increasingly complex global landscape.
Her career has also been shaped by public service and international experience. Emem previously worked as a political fellow for Barack Obama and at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore, conducting educational research. She later earned a Fulbright Program scholarship to Hong Kong, where she taught cross-cultural programming at a local university, an experience that further refined her global perspective and cultural fluency.
Outside of her advisory work, Emem is a guest lecturer at New York University, where she speaks on careers, strategy, and navigating modern professional life. She has also invested in and advised a range of minority-owned, women-led, and globally minded startups across gaming, wellness, and transportation, drawn to founders building at the edges of culture and commerce.
An aspiring author and tastemaker, Emem approaches life with the same intentionality she brings to her work. In her spare time, she collects memories, passport stamps, stilettos, and Michelin stars, tracing the world through its great cities, extraordinary tables, and the quiet rituals of beauty, movement, and discovery.
